YOUTH GROUP
September 2026:
Youth Group
As the school year starts up again, so is our Youth Group. All kids in 3rd grade and older are invited. We meet the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6-7:30pm beginning with a light meal.
How do you want to be involved?
- I am a youth and plan to be there.
- I am an adult and would like to help out. We look forward to your presence--let Pastor Sharla, Elke, or a current youth leader know.
- I know some kids to invite. Invite them and pass their names on to Sharla, Elke, or a youth leader.
- I have an idea I would like to share or an activity I would like to lead.
- I can sign up to provide a meal.
- I love kids and will introduce myself to one young person each Sunday.
We are living into the promises we made to these kids at their Baptism.
We promise with God's help we will proclaim the good news and live according to the example of Christ. We promise we will surround these persons with a community of love and forgiveness, that they may grow in their trust of God, and be found faithful in their service to others. We promise we will pray for them, that they may be true disciples who walk in the way that leads to life.
Student Bibles
It is often a tradition for children to receive a Bible from their church around the time they are learning to read chapter books. We haven't done this for awhile, nonetheless we are going to! We want to give each of our youth a Bible. We don't want to miss anyone. If you have a child that is third grade or older please contact the church. We will present Bibles to the youth during worship on Sunday, October 18, and Wednesday, October 21.
